# Hodling

Holding ONyc provides direct exposure to OnRe’s underlying reinsurance-backed yield without requiring deployment into additional strategies or protocols.

In addition to passive yield accrual, ONyc holders earn continuous OnRe Points while maintaining full liquidity and flexibility across the ecosystem. Held ONyc can later be deployed into liquidity provision, lending, looping, or yield trading strategies for additional utility and rewards.
