# sUSDS | Savings USDS

sUSDS is a yield-bearing stablecoin issued by the Sky Protocol. It represents USDS deposited into the Sky Savings Rate (SSR), where it accrues protocol-generated yield while remaining liquid and redeemable. Yield is reflected through an increasing redemption value rather than changes to the token balance, making sUSDS a capital-efficient onchain cash-equivalent asset.
